Positive organs

Box organs are both by colleagues and musician often seen as mere compromise. But if possibilities and the demands on such instruments are clearly evaluated, exciting organs can be created.

My positive organs shall clearly be audible within the sound of an ensemble and in big spaces, with sound-colour not too far off strings and voices. The player should be able to recognicably influence speech and off-speech of the pipes.

With all important demands on transport and tuning the actual sound of such organ is the most important issue.

I built these organs explicitly after classical design and methods, using corresponding materials, in order to set a frame of aesthetics, that they deserve.

Waldheim

The Waldheim continuo-organ was created by the endeavour of Kantor René Michael Röder. The instrument is not only used for continuo but also for liturgical playing in a cemetery chapel.
